Did you know that only 1 out of every 10 African American and Latino students can do math at grade level? Or that only 1 out of every 3 Oakland public school students can read at grade level?
It’s time for the Oakland community to stand up! On February 22 at 2:00pm, FIA Parent and Youth Leaders will be speaking out about the lack of quality schools in Oakland, especially for Black and Brown students. Join us in front of KDOL Studios at La Escuelita Elementary School (314 East 10th Street, Oakland).
